Hmmm.... To be honest, I don't really care about how a character looks as long as they're fun to play as. ^^ Having the option to choose the character's gender is nice, but it really only matters to me if it changes some aspect of the game (character interactions, skillsets, etc.). I don't see...

Dang - I'm sorry to hear about that. :( I've had that happen a few times, so now I've just made a habit of backing up my files in a couple of places, and saving different versions I can start from if a file gets corrupted or something.
