Learn Javascript Basics

No, JS is the easiest to learn, even some say python, it is not true since python is a 100% object oriented programming language, and until you "get" what that means, JS will be easier.

You would need some learning tools, book, video, online course to get familiar with syntax. JS is such a strong language that I am pretty sure you can make anything with JS. Question you should ask is not if JS is hard to learn, is my current Math level enough to do MV scripting ;)
I found Python fairly simple purely because its syntax is so straightforward and simple compared to other langs

Yeah, the syntax is nice and easy. But everything in python is an object, so the difficult part is getting the object oriented part of it, that has nothing to do with a specific language!

I also think JS is good for experienced programmers, JS is running the web, and with the rise of node.js you have a server side alternative as well :)

Thank you for this resource. I am sure it will be valuable to many people. My first language is C# so I am sure learning JS as my 3rd language will be somewhat of a breeze.
