I added Rule 6 to address this. Composers maintain full ownership rights, whereas, RPG Maker MV Resources and Forum maintains the rights to use the submissions that place in future resource packages. Most resource contests occur in this manner.

Rule 7 added to clarify what resource file format is needed. RMMV uses .ogg audio files when deployed. It uses.M4A during game design, but that one is not necessary for this contest.

Never think "if only I could be this good", always think "someday I'll be this good, too". Your piano skills are definitely something, that's for sure. You just need to figure out some basic mixing and mastering skills (maybe some arrangement ones too so not everything is always just piano) and you'll see how much of a difference it makes! Don't let this drag you down, you got talent~! ^-^

Well, 8 hours later and the song is finished and uploaded. I just had to finish it before I go to bed (which in all honesty was probably a mistake since it's almost 5 am here XD). Anyway, if you wanna have a look and a listen, you can go here to my entry in the resource section. Hope it's all complying with the rules @MinisterJay - if not, let me know.

I like your battle theme a lot though, it's proper piano epicness!Well then, be afraid... for I have managed to produce something!Aha, I'm sure you'll be great, mine is just a load of piano I've just come up with which sounds kinda heroic and/or dramatic. I have no idea how on earth this Battle Theme thing works or what it really IS (well, I know what one is, just not how I to define it I guess... I don't know, I'm probably not making sense aha.)
Also, @MinisterJay, does the track have to be uploaded to download, or can a SoundCloud Player of it be adequate?

There is my entry, just so it is in this thread for easier access I guess. sorry it's long, but I thought I'd make it long rather than looping... and I got carried away I guess aha.
Kaiser have that super dramatic battle theme, it's like the one from kingdom heart.
Just weird that skyscraper is not on the voting ground, I really like his song, thought it was one of the best,
hopefully we'll be able to vote for him soon.

Anyway, yeah Skyscraper's entry is missing in the poll. Was there maybe an issue with their submission @MinisterJay? Or was it just overlooked?

Some of the contestants put a link in this thread to show that their composition was entered. Some PMed me that their composition was ready. All three of the listed submissions stated that they are part of the contest, either in resource title or in resource description. I did not know that Skyscraper had a submission, in the audio section. It just says battle music. There was no mention of it being in the contest, and there was no post, in this thread stating it was part of it. As each contestant composition was entered, the list of submissions was modified each time, in the opening post.
Until you two mentioned his name, I thought he had just not made a submission. This happens often in other contest. People enter but do not make a submission.
I'm just assuming here but Skyscraper uploaded a battle theme a day after the contest started. Like you said, there's no statement anywhere that that's their entry but it does comply with all the rules as it was never stated anywhere that you had to link to your entry or similar. That would probably be a good thing to consider for future contests - just to keep it all organised. ^-^

I will remember to add the suggestions you made on future contests. If @Arythorn wants to add Skyscraper in, I have no problems with it. In the original rules, I had before modifying them, it stated to mention the contest in the title, but I thought that might take away from artistic creativity by the composers.
It all rested on me? That's a lot of responsibility for a 14 year old 
. And yes, let him have his chance too!
