Okay I have been attempting to create some graphic resources particularly starting with trees. I am just running into the issue where they look more watercolor painted style than pixel art. I am attempting to get something closer to PandaMaru and Ceilanna the refined pixel art style. The tree is created on a 144 x 144 px template.
I am by no means an artist. I would like some critique to help refine my style so that it can blend with a large number of wonderful assets created by the community.
Now if I could get my inherent style to scale down which small things like flowers. Right now they just look horrendous, not enough surface area to not make them just look blurry. I would just grind away at making a set like that.
The leaf was predefined brush it really needs some work but as an example of how it could look.
