Request: How do I add text to the map?

Time for sleep, indeed..! Still no 'Dash' in the Forest, or on the Trail between the Town and elsewhere..! A 'crash', too, when entering the Town (Missing: Face, Actor2.png...). I'll have another go this evening. Nighty-night.
I left Dash off in places I thought the map was to short. Do you by chance know how to disable just the auto dash option?
No idea what would cause that error. I'm hoping its just trying to call an old resource that isn't there. Will look now

I'm afraid that I'm rather in the 'humble grasshopper' category, so I have a tendency to not dabble with stuff unless I have a darned good reason. I leave all the 'Dash' stuff 'as is', as I've no reason to not want anyone to Dash..! There must be occasions where it would be important (although, off-hand, I can think of none...), and I'd rather leave the choice up to the Player. I suppose I'm the opposite of 'Control Freak', whatever that may be..!
No big deal, of course, and, I insist, I'm maybe not the typical Target for Games at all..! Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I've enjoyed playing the Demo up to now, despite my grumbling..!

I'm afraid that I'm rather in the 'humble grasshopper' category, so I have a tendency to not dabble with stuff unless I have a darned good reason. I leave all the 'Dash' stuff 'as is', as I've no reason to not want anyone to Dash..! There must be occasions where it would be important (although, off-hand, I can think of none...), and I'd rather leave the choice up to the Player. Grumble away friend , your taking time to test and give feedback on it, I really appreciate it. I will add dash to more maps just for you :) I have no idea why the crash, its working on the window export I mad and in testing so im hoping it was a failed upload, I am reuploading and tryinf again. I'm excited for you to see my new additions, I've been really building up the world, adding npcs and sidequests and easter eggs

Darn it..! se/Item3.ogg missing..! Just when I'd beaten the Minotaur again, too..! Still no 'Dash' in the Forest or on the Path, either, but never mind.
I must say (and this doesn't only apply to your Demo...), I don't really understand the purpose behind the build-up/wait in the Battle sequences. All it does (for me...) is slow down the pace of the Game. I would understand better if I had some kind of control over this waiting, but it's simply a delay that I just have to watch. It doesn't add anything; rather the opposite, for me. Just sayin'...
Of course, I have to start again if there are updates, as the 'Save' from a previous version is not reliable. All the more frustrating when the System lacks a file and crashes..! Is it really missing, or just a case of not being successfully loaded at my end..?

It happened after defeating the Minotaur? like exactly after? Probably an error using that as a key item. I'll see what I can do. And I get it man you want more dash, I know whats on and off haha. And as far as the build up are you talking about the atb system? Where the bar fills and you choose an action then it charges again and you make that action? It's for strategy, once the story and everything is done for the game the game will be very strategy heavy on the base of that system. Like for instance, The dark artist skill Soul Split and shadow warrior skill K.O punch both have a chance to paralyze/stun respectively.
We will use father maji as an example for this. He starts trying to heal himself when he drops below 35% Health. If the heal is the difference in you winning the fight and you fail a couple times you may pick that up. since there is a delay in the action you can use k.o punch once he starts casting to place that interupt. the bar also fills up quicker the more agility you have.

I just played through and killed the minotaur and didn't get an error. I renamed the item so it might be corrupted data from your cache? Can you wipe that and try again pretty please!!! And yes lots of bugs , sorry for that, game isn't even close to done and i am learning as it goes, but if you're okay with it I am already crediting you as a special thanks (alpha tester). Even if you stop helping now :). I'd offer you some monetary reward for your help if I wasn't so poor haha. If you ever need help testing or art or whatever man let me know, not just saying that

No worries there, I'm downloading it right now. I'll carry on enduring the 'build-up' and work out later what it's good for (Have I mentioned that I'm a dopey old git with poor reflexes and even poorer understanding..?).
There'll be no mention of pecuniary arrangements from me old chum..! I do everything I do because I like it and want to, that's all..! If you're looking for a Demo to try, though, you may like to have a go at the Rachdale Cheese Teaser, which is playable on line from here...

...which will give some insight into the various phases of a Game I'm slowly advancing. Just for fun, of course... The Game starts, 'officially', at '1' (Lakeside Village'...), but one may plunge in to any of the Locations to see what's in there. That way, one doesn't have to go through the whole Demo to see the later stages. Just a thought.
