Backspace in Name Input Proccessing

It is in the title, is there a way to do this?
I will even accept adding backspace to the back function.
It would be annoying and frustrating to tell them to change the controls.

On an ordinary PC, and using the mouse, a 'Right-Click' will do Back Space during Name Entry. Is that not what you want..?

No, people are thinking of it as actual keyboard input and they cannot use backspace to...well backspace.
Is there a way to alter the script to add backspace to work like the back button?
That is the best and easiest route.
