Why is tileset and characterset on diffrent positions ?

It seems like the characterset is moving a bit to the top during testplay.
Maybe this is a great effect in map movement but in 2D environment its getting a problem :S
Is there a script or something how to fix this?

becouse the editor is a 45 angle not a side scroller. If the charas were set the way you want it would look off when walking on a brige.

I wouldnt ask this question if this is something usual in RPG-Maker. In older versions it wasnt like this.

Even in RPG Maker VX Ace there was no empty room between char-set and tile-set.

Also in vx ace when they walked on a bridge sideways they were not setting on the tile right so it looked off. Rpg maker is set to a 45 degree angle. so any game you make this was it going to need plugins to change the defalt codeing. the boxes you have up are wrong for a platform. if you want a platform look at least put up a road that is one tile tall.
