Hello there fellow game lovers <3

Well ugh...I don't know where to start.

I'm going to start with the most obvious thing, I love games! Shocking isn't it? :D
Well I was introduced to RPG MAKER a long while back when I saw that horror game (Ib) It was made in XP.

How about my skill in using RPG MAKER? I've never completed a project nor went half way through it to know how GOOD I am, but I know my way around .

Before that, I used to write a lot of things but never get them complete. The reason for that is personal, all you need to know that my life was a living hell of depression for continous 6-7 years and what came with it with losing interests all the time, I still fight it to this day even though I'm cheerful and happy most of the time.

How I got to love writing? Well believe it or not, I never had the idea to write at all, it just came to me when I was playing a role playing 2d horror game in byond called "Mitadake High". That was when I was 12-13 years old (I think), it's dead now ;~;. Anyways, that game had a community and it had a couple of fan writers. So I thought, why not write one? As someone who started to write the day after, it was a mess, quirky, I had no writing skills or any of that wordsmithing. It was a total MESS. My first prologue ever was posted in deviantart but I can't find it anymore. Months later, I developed a better writing skill, it wasn't perfect nor good, but it was better. Anyways, I was so pumped up but as always, the depression got me out of writing and a lot of things. ~sigh~

How about my writing skills right now? After 5 years of not writing and constant depression. It's pretty bad. Not the writing itself, but rather I'm not a wordsmith anymore. Words don't come to my mind as they used to be back when I started. Hopefully I'll try and get that back

How about now? Well I just finished my first year of college. Being forced into engineering, I want to write and develop games. I mostly write suspense,mystery and horror. I'm half Asian and half Egyptian. Oh and also, I live in Egypt. :D

I would also love to be guided on how could I help and contribute in this community. I feel almost useless as I don't know how to script (just started coding a week ago so it'll take a while for these courses to take effect ;D) and I don't know who to pixelate or something of the sort. But if you want a story writer, I'm all yours <3

It's nice of you to wanting to help this community :D as a fellow writer, I can also understand that there are times when things you wanna write to the end will suddenly ended halfway :/ trust me, I've been there before as well. But I hope sumday I could see your creation ^-^

Believe it or not, I was actually surprised to see "Writer" as an RM Skill. I mean, there's nothing in RM that lets you "write" except your own game. So man, what do writers do here except writer stories? Do we actually get asked to make stories for games?

Well, yeah writers write....stories XD And some may not even have the slightest idea to pixelart and script (I'm talking about me ;-;) but maybe we can contribute by giving inspirations and ideas to others RMs, and as long as you have the will of RPG Makers, you're free to be here no matter what skills you're good at XD And hey, games need a good stories too yakno :P And a good story leads to an enjoyable game ^-^

Hi @SeroKun . I, myself am a published writer. I have articles published in Hot Psychology Magazine and Mission Health Magazine. It did not occur quick. I started writing over 35 years ago, but persistently I write. I take notes, lots of notes. It does not matter if it is business, or if it is a church sermon, I take notes. Just keep on writing.

I used to also have a lot of incomplete writings and incomplete games. I decided to start making shorter games. This allows you to get critiquing quicker.

Hello and welcome to the forums <3 Oh gosh you poor D: Don't worry about not finishing a story though, it's normal and procrastination destroys ideas and motivation somethimes. but WHATEVER, have a lot of fun here~
