What education do you have/what education are you getting?

A large number of us are in school, or have already went to school.

I have earned a Bachelor's of Science degree Majoring in Psychology and Minoring in English. I have successfully completed a semester of graduate work towards a Master's of Art in Teaching. I have also a semester of undergraduate work towards a Bachelor's of Science degree towards Pastoral Studies.

What education have you completed or are currently working on?

I'm doing my ABI in two years ^^ Not sure how to compare though since our education system is really different from most others. However, I'm also sitting my cambridge exam next month. Besides that, I already have the certification of completion of Hauptschule and will get the one of Realschule in the end of this year.

Oh god that sounds so weird XD

@Cunechan It is indeed different than the American education system. I guess I graduated from the equivalent of Realschule/Gynasium in 1985.

I have major qualifications in English (language and literature) and writing, a few qualifications in psychology, and quite a few in computing (including web design). I'm doing online course right now for Javascript (the "advanced" stuff, I guess, like a refresher followup) and also one for the Unreal Engine (kind of).

Actually that sounds like some schnapps you'd drink AFTER your exams. Haha!

While not in college yet, if you remember I was planning to do graphic design. Also in high school I did a variety of computer classes... (although I tried to be in a lot of clubs back then.) I was in Art, the Art club, Drama, Theater, Choir, AP English, and I was in FBLA which I did many various computer designs which made me realize how much I like music and art. So the plan for me is to Major in Graphic Design, and Minor in the Performing Arts.

We have homeschool all of our three children at one time or another. Two of them graduated from A.C.E. curriculum school, which some home schoolers use. We have also utilized ABeka.

I started with a BA in Computer Science and Information Tech. After I became an analyst for Xerox a few years ago, I have obtained a Black Belt in Six Sigma through business courses for streamlining productivity. Considering going back to school for business and marketing, but life is hectic enough already :P

To be honest, I'd have preferred to be homeschooled. Never liked school as a rule. So if self-learning also counts as homeschooling then I guess that still counts, right?

I'm halfway done earning my BA in Digital Animation, and I'll likely be going back to earn a degree in Graphic Design as well (since I'll already have more than half of the required courses done). I'm also certified to prepare and serve sushi.

Interesting to see what fields people are coming from (or currently in).
I have a master of education as special needs teacher (Subjects Science and German, Specialization on Mental Disabilities). Unfortunately in germany that's not enough so I'm doing my "Referendariat" (also called "Vorbereitungsdienst" :P) right now - the practical part of the German path to become a teacher.

I figured as much, but you know what? Hauptschnaps and Realschnaps kinda work (and according to Google Translate - useful or useless - Hauptschnaps is a party shot so...Yeah! Haha! ;)

I think then the Gesamtschnaps and Grundschnaps should not be missed.

Myself I have some collage time behind be studying I Computer and Web Applications Programming as well as Multimedia. I didn`t get to finish my schooling but now so many years later much of what I learned ten is near useless today. Flash is no longer the webs greatest media tool. Pearl is all but unused in web apps, and my own fault, I`ve been away from programming for long enough that I am confident that I would need to send a few months relearning the basics.

On the more positive side, I`ve kept up with my computer and multimedia knowledge for the most part, and for quite a while worked as a Repair technician locally, and still have the occasional client that calls for help. ;m a dabbler more than a professional when it comes to art and music tools, but I am confident in my abilities working with photoshop, enough so at least I have the occasional product sale on Secondlife (havnt been on there in a while now but my sales there fueled all of my adventures so I never really had to spend any money)

As for my current education, I`m trying to learn HTML5 (I say trying because old HTML is really deeply ingrained in my head and relearning it is hard) And am studying the Japanese Language, It is a fight against my own learning disabilities the whole way, but I wan`t to keep learning, get better, and enjoy many of the games, manga, and anime that haven`t come state side.
