Hi
@ZeroCKY1 , and welcome to the forum. What is your favorite part to do in the game design arena?
I do not have as much free time as I did when I was younger. However, currently, I enjoy creating dialogue, maps, and story lines for RPG Maker MV. When I was in high school, it was a dream of mine to become a game developer or work for a game company. I used to enjoy art, drawing and many other things and took many computer classes. However, after high school things happened and I did not have enough money to live on my own or go to college again. So I ended up joining to military, then got out and went back to college and graduated with my BS in criminal justice, and Masters in Business.
However, I still have a few regrets that sometimes wish I could have stayed on the same path to what I truly wanted to do. Nothing more exciting than creating something you love to do. So currently as you can tell, I have not kept up with anything related to computers or designing for many years; I would say over 14 years. I played a huge variety of games since the mid 80's till now, and even competed professionally in the specific variety of games, but this was back in the mid to late 90's.
I used to use RPG Maker back when it had become first released for PC but had stopped and found it amazing that it still continued with newer versions. So this is like my second chance in life to do what I always wanted to do, but on a different scale level. I am trying to create a game for Droid and Mac. However, since I am behind, I have been currently studying on the side new scripting languages and relearning Photoshop and any other graphic designing techniques. I look forward to working with everyone and I hope to share with everyone the RPG maker experience and get more people involved.
