PLEASE need help! missing .dll file in RPGMV version 1.0

Please help me bring back a fun part of mah sidelife x3

My flashdrive got virused but got fixed fast...and all my files are safe (especially my RA projectfile)

RA works fine even tested it on mobile(Thank God :D)

but...The RPGMV files are missing DX and shows this error...

Qt5WebEngine.dll (dll files...geez)



and here are the system files...(maybe some things are missing too rather than above is missing)




now I dun want to download that Goddamn huge filesize again...I just need the corefile/even missing files

Please...can you guys/gals send a Link to these RPGMV .dll files?

dunno if its ver. 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 since I've downloaded it in the Mid January 2016...(hint: I've got extra folder files for the music,kadokawa plugins, sci-fi things)

It sounds more like a corrupted HDD or the virus directly attacked MV which is strange. Nonetheless, I would recommend a disk check for any corrupted files to be on the safe side. As for the DLL the error message does not quite say which DLL it needs and it may be a hassle trying to find it. I would suggest downloading the update to see if that helps. Are you using steam or the standalone?

Edit: okay it does say what DLL is having a hard time loading, my mistake.

That's I'm wondering myself too...if RPGMV needs that .dll in its folder or...The comp's dll got corrupt...or just RPGMV got corrupt while saying it needs that dll while it doesn't...

Anyways I might try updating if all else fails...(dunno if the plugins/project compatibility of my current game that runs on 1.0 could run compatibly and functionally in 1.1) o.o

Projects shouldn't be hurt by the x.1 update but do back up just in case.

Sounds like something really mangled the installation (I'd presume the virus).

If you really had a virus, it would be a lot, lot safer to delete the installation and reinstall.

I think you're better off downloading the whole MV package again and replacing the installation. There's a chance the update won't replace everything that's broken (a moderate chance too, I'd wager that it's very likely).

Also; a virus! You want to delete anything that was scrambled in-case this virus decided to attempt to archive itself within another binary (.exe, .dll) when your anti-virus picked it up.

If it's only deleted files then you should be able to download the DLL that was removed online.

QT is a public licenced library, I can send you the files you're missing if you want to try that.

I still recommend a clean install though, you shouldn't trust anything - even me sending you the binaries.

EDIT: Not to mention, you getting the missing files externally may end up on a goose-chase of tracking down what's missing and replacing them.

...Are you sure you only have 24?

My RPG Maker MV installation has 7,334 files :/

I'm not going to send you any missing files, I'm not willing to start the goose chase of finding out what you're missing over the internet when you can just reinstall and fix all your problems locally, sorry.

Lolz no...I meant the files just seen on-screen(not the actual files of the whole RPGMV)...I'll look into it later
