I don't have any issues with speed or re-directs, I use chrome and sometimes firefox depends on what I'm doing and still have no issues with speed. same thing on my mobile, I am having no issues with speed.

I have concluded that this problem is localized to my browser, Pale Moon. I've tested using several other browsers, and this only seems to occur when using Pale Moon on both my computer and my phone. Now I'm just curious as to why it only started happening recently.

Okay, since everyone is blaming scape goats allow me to make very clear what is going on.

I have now tested this site on five different computers, my one at home, three class ones at school, and one at a library.

I recently just upped my speed from 500 KBPS to 2,500 KBPS with no change at all.

I have used Chrome, Firefox and I.E.

Another forum that uses Xenforo had no issues.

The issues weren't existent here before this theme.

So NO. Case in point, this is not on me, this is not on a browser, this is not on location, this is not on some other hapless scapegoat like internet speed.

This is a less common but still indisputably faulty glitch on your end. Probably in the theme.

I'll give you all the time you need to fix it since it sounds like something intrinsic, try checking packets sent overseas, to more contained scenarios, maybe it's a thing with the southern hemisphere, keep in mind, Australians here aren't common, nor are people in the southern hemisphere in general.

But by god don't say I am at fault after I clarified once already it clearly isn't. If I explain to you it isn't on my end, then you can bet it isn't because I've done extensive testing to make sure it isn't.

I know some people are fucking stupid and don't do research but I narrow everything off my end first so I can be sure I won't waste your time.

Now you are continually doing a very thorough job of wasting mine (and my patience as well) with the selective ignorance you are resorting to.

I have a dynamic ISP which could be any ISP in sydney or brisbane, two major cities in this country.

If that is the case, it's not something I can do anything about, and I don't have the knowledge of backend to say if it could be repaired on your end.

Except that this behavior is recent, about when the new theme was applied, so it being related to my ISP is VERY unlikely, considering it changes when-so-ever I reset my router.

Also: Just as a side, I payed the five dollars weeks ago for sponsorship and it's still yet to activate, I don't mind a whole lot, just figured I'd throw that in.

Alright, thanks for all that info. For debugging purposes, I'll need to know at which point exactly the slowdown occurs - could we Teamviewer or somesuch sometime?

It might be the same thing that happened last time. Do you remember how we went about fixing that?

Nope, it's all automagic :) idk why but BM has bad luck or something with the site because the error of sponsorship has happened prior already XD

I'm available for the following 8 hours, but I can describe which points slow downs occur.

Outside of scrolling and typing, it is constant, and loading the drop down for alerts, my inbox or my profile options is on a level of frustration, but basically whenever the server has to load sent info, it seems to slow down to snail pace, or redirect to something like this which is embodied by a white screen.

This is infuriating when I've typed out a post and suddenly all my work is gone.

Even basic interface function like adding a hyperlink through the wizard can take 10-20 seconds to load the interface, by which point I've typed it out in bbCode, then press cancel when it finally comes up.

I've had no luck touching my PM's, either.

im getting more used to the new theme slowly. other than the default font here which I can easily change, it's really starting to grow on me =)

I want to start making some backgrounds for the forum next week, hopefully some of them will be good enough to be added in!

nice work @Xyphien! thanks for all your hard work, as always! Just want you to know I appreciate all you do to keep this forum fun (jolly)
