I added more description to the twelve classes. By choosing to be a Trainer, who knows what allies one may acquire.

Everyday, I try to learn how to do something new. Yesterday I learned how to make my own parallax, make one from a photo and one from another map I made a few days ago. (Been working out a cityscape parallax's to use in a modern world game). Never did anything like this before and have been experimenting using Gimp and photos my son took on a trip--turning them into cartoons and then placing them in the 'test field game' I have.

I been working for a few weeks trying to understand common events and how to use them. Maybe today will be the day that happens!

Added a new method of altering parts of the story's path, which offers more choice to the player based on how effectively they play the game. Also made a new character, who will probably be in the "enigma" category.

I been holding off progress for SQ until I get reports back from beta testers, well last night I got a report, so in an hour or more I fixed a majority of what was found.

    [*]Fixed mini-boss enemy name *Note, ALWAYS remember to remove test words from enemy names, having "Mini Boss" in the name is a HUGE spoiler! (cheeky)
Now my work for today begins, I do believe I'm going to get shit done, all bugs shall be fixed today. Yes, that is optimism at it's best.

That's an awesome idea to have in a game....I just dunno how to do it right lol. I do want player choice to matter in TOTL though.

Today I did a massive conversion of one of my prototype games to make it at the 1st-4th grade level. Words had to be changed or removed. Game terminology had to be changed. Friendlier graphics put in. It is for a group of socio-econimcally, Inner-City, challenged children, that I hope to be helping shortly as Elementary Youth Coordinator.

Today I made a bunch of healer skills, a few NPCs for the first real town, and one third of the first dungeon! I'm going to give what I have to my friend this weekend to test for me, so I'm working on getting as much operational as possible.

Creating interactivity without scripts is like programming with a really, really, bad programming language. I see it as a challenge.

Poker and Blackjack are going to be way harder.

I love programming with the Event Maker as well as the language. I see it as "using what's given to me in the most effective manner" and being completely original (you can't just copy paste someone's evented work and use it like you can a plugin haha), but it certainly can provide a fun challenge as well as new macro making opportunities. :)

Today, in the Knockout State, I changed the messages from Actor Target Name 'has fallen!' to 'gave the gems away!' and from Enemy Target Name 'was slain!' to 'smiled and went home!'

As you may be able to tell, this is being catered to a group that I want to expose less violence to.

Always good for child friendly versions of it xP.


Today I've not done too much in terms of my project, but I did add a bit more info to the story section on its wiki page. As well, I have done a bit of work on the special mask one of the characters will be using. (Same mask will be a gen part in my next resource pack but with slight variations xP) Aside from that....hm, added in a few repeatable style quests to gather materials for some NPC's.
