You're all over the place, trying all kinds of different things. That's pretty cool.

Keep it up!

Thank you! Music and voiceover are my PASSIONS in life, but I also like to draw and I used to be a writer for a food company awhile back.... so I suppose you could say I'm a writer, too. :)

You're ambitious, really ambitious, that's a really good thing! You keep up with that and you'll go far! Winds of Awakening is really good and you've got some solid melodies here.

"I'm still here!" is radical, it's not overly complex, but that's a good thing, sometimes less is more. Your Spooky/dark themes across the board are really solid.

Where you seem to lack out a little is in battle themes, and not because you have been lazy, actually it's quite the opposite! They are way too complex, there's too much going on at once! This is most evident in Danza de los Monstros, where in only two parts of the song is one melody ever unified.

They still aren't bad at all, but comparing them to your spooky dark themes, they could use a little work, that's all. :3

Again, there are really strong melodies in there, but they are 60% of the time overlayed by other melodies, which more often than not-- sounds quite messy! I think my favorite part of Danza de los Monstros was in the solo at 50 seconds in where the trumpet takes the high road, then it shortly has another trumpet repeat it until 1:15, that was really good! Almost had me on goosebumps.

Thank you for your compliments. They are appreciated!

This was aaaalll I had to read and then I chuckled. Yeah, I openly admit that I do struggle just a bit with battle themes.
DDLM was a particular challenge because the client told me they wanted "epic... with lots of brass" but not much more in that regard, including what the game was about or anything.
I had composed a more standard-feeling battle theme, which was taken down due to the client buying the rights and at their behest.

edit: Some song links were taken down and some were mixed! This is one of them.

Ever thought of making a bard song, with a lyre and/or lute? Might make a good medieval pub setting piece.

I love non-traditional art. That's a complement. (smile) I guess you also have commissioned services for that too. (wink) In previous games, I have paid for artwork, so I need no reason not to pay for commissioned music too...particularly for commercial projects.

Like I've said, I'm genuine.

I see.

Make more battle themes, not particularly for anyone. For you.

If you want to up your game, and you're no stranger to ambition, do it because you want to. It's clear you don't lack talent-- if you put your mind to it, I'm sure you could put out some really amazing battle tracks.

Those are the first thing people tend to look at.

Hmm... you'd probably envy my composer, he gets to work with this level of detail.

If only I had need for more than one. I'd ask you if you were interested in some unpaid work on the spot. But it seems you are looking for paid work. That probably suits both of us.

I can't pay my employees anymore, but they are still happy, even eager to work for me. One day though, I will repay them, by giving them the spotlight they deserve, and once we have that, I can pay them once more.

Nice stuff!

I like this one a lot. You did this for your own game, right?

Beautiful organ composition. I love how it sounded throughout. I could listen to it over and over again. That pause at the end was perfectly timed. Looking forward to a composition by that chest shaking big boy.
Thank you! It was for a game, now shelved. The game idea came back though as an audioplay (and will eventually resurface as a new game entirely)
