I like MV the most, looks so clean and perfect. Apart from that I love DS, so delighfully retro.

I'm not sure, it's easier for pixel to be good, but a nice paint style (Like MV) can be great. If you get what I mean :)

I get you completely, I personally like painterly more but pixel gives off a nice environment and classic feel to it.
