Well its been a while since I'm here, but I have not done any introduction, and I need to get rid of this green bar above.
I'm 30 now, and I have worked mostly with RPG Maker XP. I avoided VX/ACE because of the horrible tiling and mapping they had. Of course, MV also is horrible as it was in VX/Ace but I expect better working scripts with Javascript now.
Although I worked a lot in pixel art, only in my late works now I'm creating things by myself, I used to rip, change, rework things. Also I do hate a lot Parallax mapping. I find it more like a problem cover than a solution to a major problem of the maker. Hate it as I do, I must get along if I plan to do any work with MV, since its the only ''solution'' for its current terrible tiling and mapping.

My current working programs are Photoshop CC 2015 and windows Paint (yeah really the Paint!), I've tried many other programs for pixel work, but none did any better and Photoshop CS6, now I finally went to Photoshop CC and its a great tool. People who work with parallax would love it too, since it allows you create multiple layers over a picture. Also I may help anyone around with rips or any kind of pixel work.
I also know a bit about a programming: Java, Ruby (and on Rails too), C# and now I'm learning Javascript. Programming its not my primary focus on MV.

Well thats all, I'll tag along MV, even hating its tiling, since its a great maker, far better than its predecessors, and I'm investing a lot of time planning some small works directly pixel art now on it. Bellow its a small sample of one of my late works on XP. Its a rip from Ragnarok Online, and I did some changes to fit my game story, by removing one of its arms and replacing it with a metal one. Also I did some works on the hood.

Hello and welcome to RMMV! Hope you have fun and find what you are looking for here. ^_^

Is CC really that much better than CS6? I've been debating for a while..

Hi @Ronivan and welcome to the forums. I noticed your opinion of parallax mapping. Have you ever tried making all images from scratch, including maps, using none of the RTP included in MV. it may be the option you are looking for.

Well it has some nice tools that once where only present in Adobe Bridge like Carema Raw, which allows you to create darken or lighten spots over the object. If you use Bridge Camera Raw it usually breaks the image transparency, placing a white color background. Camera Raw inside the Photoshop CC is a Filter and don't screw with transparency anymore. It also possess all the legacy features of CS6.

Welcome aboard! I like your sprite edit; I enjoy the idea of borrowing/editing sprites from other games to suit my needs as well, since I have no artistic talent >.< anyways, hope you'll post some more of your work in the future! have fun here~

I made this today, my first true work made entirely new by myself for MV. Well if you forgive the wooden walls there, they were changed from the original MV tiles, but the rest were totaly made by myself in Photshop CC. Its not finished, I just made the two roof sections bellow, now I'm doing some work to conects the vertical roof with the horizontal roof. It will take some time yet to finish everything I believe. Hope you guys like it.
