Hey everybody new to forums, new to RPG Maker, but so far I am loving this program, I'm 53 and the games that can be made with RPG Maker remind me of the early RPG games when I was a young man. I am still learning to use the program, just playing around with it for now. I am working on a store line and game concept, so I'm sure I will have lots of stupid questions later.
Thanks,
Demon

Good grief, I think we got a new forum elder. (glad)
But yes, it's great to see that RPG Maker can fascinate anyone regardless of how old or young they are. And as @Micro said, don't worry about asking your questions. We all started out at some point and needed some assistance and directions.
Anyway, welcome @Demon, to the forum where there's no "envy" only "MV". ^_^

Hi Demon. I myself am a [Red Box] Basic Dungeons & Dragons, [Blue Box] Expert Dungeons and Dragons, 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Gamma World, MERPS, Tunnels and Trolls, etc. player. The time of paper, pencil, and dice, and uncountable 1st level character hoping one might make it to fourth level.

Welcome to the forums. Getting closer to being a half-centurion myself.

Wow, I to am and old D&D player from back in the day, I remember playing at a friends house on a weekend night staying up late (partaking of certain herbs). Then a new and wonderful technology came along computers and I got to play "Text Adventures" loved Zork, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Hobbit and others, then got blown away with graphic text adventure games. But I could go on.........
Thanks for the welcome MinisterJay.

I almost mentioned those kind of games..... If you want to enter the dark forest turn to page 14, is you do not turn to page 6. Tunnels and Trolls could be played solo or in a group. they has modules you could play by yourself. I forgot to mention GURPS. My mom worked at an archaic toy store named Toys By Roy. They had bookcase games, lots of D&D stuff, and other RPGs. Oh man, the first games on the C-64 and TRS80.

Welcome @Demon. This is the best forum around - very friendly and helpful. I'm 46, but (usually) feel like 30-ish. No doubt you'll enjoy this forum. (smile)

I, too, am (or was) a Tunnels & Trolls (and MANY other gamebooks/tabletop games) player. I had ALL of the T&T materials (gamebooks and multiplayer). I was in regular contact with Flying Buffalo and collaborated with them on a few things, notably with a fanzine I published called the "Soloist's Sojourn"; they provided me with exclusive content for it too, and even programmed the T&T system in QBasic. I had over 300 gamebooks in total, but sadly had to get rid of them all, along with everything related, when I migrated overseas.
