The things about chatrooms, is they're very controversial. You have them and members will be happy, and only post in the chatroom, this will kill the forums, and future development/growth of the forums. You don't have them, and members want them, but it allows everyone to post actively on the forums. On top of all that, chatrooms also take up a lot of bandwidth, and slows down the forum a lot. With having a chatroom load times could spike, and double. It's something I'd have to sit down, and really think about, as well as go over it with the fellow (Currently small) staff about this.

Sorry for the long post, I like to explain the reasoning behind why I don't want to add it, vs. saying "We're not going to add it". This way you understand the thought process behind decisions, etc.

On @Xyphien's other forums, we just made big Skype groups for chatting.
If people want to do that, I think we'd be willing to make an official one.

Skype groups, it's something like people sharing their Skype ID, so the staff member can add them in a groupe in Skype?
Yup. One of us staff members would make the group, and add forum members as friends on skype so that they can be added to the group. Everyone added into the group would have access to the group, and, therefore, the chat. They would also have the ability to add other people to the group because that's how skype works.

I like this approach better ^^

Yea I agree with Xyphien on this one, chat rooms are controversial, hard to moderate and a bandwidth killer. I also like the skype group idea better as I am already a part of a RPG Maker community group in skype and it's really fun.
