Hey people

I dunno what to say. I've messed around with RPG maker for a while, and I figured it was time to make a full game. I messed around with it as a kid, I think the PS1 release but never did anything substantial with it till now.

I generally do story writing in my spare time, so why not try this? Right now I am working on a Star Trek Horror game in the vein of classic resident evil (survival horror)

Has anyone ever done anything with pre-rendered backgrounds rather than using pixel tiles?
