Hey guys, first off, I just want to say I am new to this whole community thing. I have no idea how to find threads or where the correct areas are to post my threads, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong.

Now to my problem, self switches. I would like to use an event to change another event's self switch using a script call. I found an example for Ace, which is "$game_self_switches[[$game_map.map_id, 1, 'A']] = true" but it doesn't seem to work for MV.
This is a small problem that I have solved with a different alternative solution but it seems more messy and a lot more work than typing script call. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!
