I think that the host uses a shared SSL certificate, tied to the hosting company’s domain, not to the domains hosted by the hosting company.

I am in the process of fixing this right now. I stated yesterday there might be some complications with us switching to https, and I am in the process of fixing all the errors, etc. (As well as contacting my host to help with a lot of it)

It's not that, I believe they (The hosting company I use) installed the SSL incorrectly. I've put in an URGENT ticket with them, hopefully it will get resuled soon.
