One more day!!! So what is everyone most excited about and what are your plans? Anyone actually planning on making anything for the app markets to be sold or just doing as a hobby? I plan on a few projects for fun and the forums , but also I have some plans to attempt to make something especially for the android market .. always been a dream of mine to make a living from doing what I really have a passion for.

Excited to try the new features. I wonder if it will be free to make and share free demos on android. If so, that's a win. If not, there's still at least the PC domain. Except that, I'll probably try to write and see what I could change in my plots because I always end up restart from scratch xD
But I'll explore the hell of it and see all the advantages I can do with it. Also, it all depends of your occupation if you're not too busy at the same time. Having more than a life can hinder a project's time and speed.

If MV handles it anything like game maker studio does you ll have to download the Android SDK kits and then you ll select save/export as apk which you can upload for testing .. I have a few apks already on my desktop that I've made in GMaker with my 7 yr old daughter whom I m now trying to teach how to use RPG Maker since its slightly easier to understand and use for younger minds . Her birthday is halloween so I even got her ,her very own laptop (she s really smart and loves electronics like her daddy) so I figured it would be another fun way to bond on our weekends together

Great thing it can handle, but I've heard that you have to pay to upload it in your android app. I don't know if it's true or false though. Because I just want to share my stuff free with my friends erm...

Yeah theres a one time fee of $25 for a dev account you can then upload all the apks afterwards you want free or paid .. google then makes their money off a % of what you sell your games or apps for if you decide to go that route , if not you ll find ur game in the free section

it's completely free to put it on your phone, tablet or any android devices. for ios that's not the case you will need to have a developer account and that will cost you about 100$ a month or a year.
as for uploading to the google play store, you will need a developer account. which is a one time payment of 25$ not a bad investment if your looking to make a bunch of games. especially if there good enough to sell !

yeah my bad I didnt think of adding that in there ..its completely free to install ur own apk on ur own tab or phone .. just cost a one time cost to be able to upload ur apps to the app market .. as far as itunes and ios go i m not 100% sure since i personally dont like apple and dont own an overpriced piece of junk ;) but i ve heard it s like 100$ for a itunes dev account for the market but dont quote me on that

Not bad at all, but what if it's just to share with friends only so I don't want to put it in the App Store? ^^

If they use Gmail, you can email the APK to them, and when they receive the email in the Android Gmail client the email has an "Install" button on it. however do note that before anyone can install an app from a source other than the Android Market, they must set the "Unknown sources" setting on their device, to allow installation of apps from places other than the Android Market
