To clarify what I'm asking, when I mean not use items on characters I mean just select an item from the menu and go. I'm making a horror game so when it takes me to the screen where I select a party member (even if I only have one at the time) it's pretty pointless. How do I get rid of that feature?
For sideways stairs, I need it so there isn't automatic walking up the stairs when you get near but whenever you walk to the side your character moves diagonally up and to the side to give the illusion of climbing stairs. Thank you in advance!
