Higher Levels of Sponsoring RMMV Forums

Right now there is an option to sponsor at $5 per month. Could we have higher monthly sponsoring options like $10 per month, and maybe even $25 per month? This forum is worth it.

I'm not sure what kind of settings the forum allows for donations, but I'm sure that could be arranged. :)

We could have something like Sponser ($5/month), Sponser+ ($10/month), Sponser☆ ($25/month), and then Partner ($15/yr), Partner+ ($25/yr), Partner☆ ($50/yr). I'm not sure about those values, but it's an idea. ^^

I'm not quite sure we would even need any more than the two we have. The sponsor and partnerships offer extra features, what kind of features could make new sponsors.partnerships any different?. The way I see it at the moment is sponsor is for a month with the features and partnership is a year with the features, so we could have tri-monthly, and different intervals but if you just want to donate more for the month, go to the Donate page after purchasing the sponsor and donate some more.

Well, in this case it's less about extra features, more about wanting to donate more at a time. :)

It's certainly more convenient to have the options set to certain amounts right away, but I understand your point.

If the Donate page is going to be permanent, that may be a viable option for us to look at. There may be people that want to donate more monthly and annually, on a higher auto-debit scale. New features and/or benefits would not even be necessary as perks.

I completely understand what you mean, and it is a great idea to have those options available for those who want to donate a bit more than average. I am pretty sure the donate page will be there for as long as the website is up, unless Xyphien has different plans. I suppose for now the donate page is the better option. @Xyphien will have a peak at this post soon enough and elaborate on the donate page as well as having extra sponsor options.

As for extra features, the only thing I can recommend would be a glowing and sparkling username for the + and starred donators.

The + would be a slight glow, whilst the stars will have amazing sparkles. (I'd also probably add the shparkelz to admins and glow to mods to make us look awesome <3)

This is all up to you all on if you'd like to see this actually be a thing or not.

I think making the banners special makes the most sense as an extra benefit, because basically you're paying for the same category - you're just paying more. Adding too many extra features for paying members would make it unfair for the members who just can't afford it.

That's why all features you get for sponsor and partner you can also get once you get level 10. The only difference is the colored username. This way you're not hemmed up for not being able to donate, and can still get the benifits, you just have to work a lot harder for them :)

I am pro-donate. The main perk is letting the site have the ability to expand to whatever size it needs to be. The more members the merrier. :)

Well sure, @Xyphien, but the average user is probably not going to be straining themselves over reaching level 10, lol. At least not if they have their own projects to focus on. xD

But yeah, I'm with @MinisterJay (and I'm sure most of us feel the same way). It's nice to be able to donate to and support a site growing as much as this one, and it'd be great to have more members join us that have the same attitude. :)
