So I feel like starting by saying I am a complete and utter noob at this and I'm not afraid to admit this. I really want help on just where do I even begin because I am very serious about this but I have no idea where to start. If someone could help me and give me a few pointers that would be great!!

hey there welcome aboard! to be honest, when I was new to the program I just played around with all the different features and tested what all the little options did. you should start simple by playing around with tiles, making a little map to start. you could also try out the nifty character generator!

I can't stand using tutorials and stuff so I learn best by doing hands-on testing and just randomly playing with options :D it takes some time, but overall it is not too difficult to learn the basics on your own. I am not sure what way is easiest for you to learn though, but I recommend just having fun with it and treating it like its own little minigame!

for specific questions you might have in the future, I'm sure we'll be able to help you out more =)

HI @Katchaos63 . Welcome to the forum. This is comparatively a new engine, so everybody is a noob. There are almost 600 Resources, and a lot of helpful people, in this community. If you need help in a specific area, there is probably some one that can help you out. Look forward to seeing you around.

Hey there @Katchaos63 and welcome to rmmv.co, if you came here looking for help you found the right place. Considering you have no idea where you should start I would recommend checking out RPG Maker MV's help file, with MV open press F1, and it should load your browser with a local help file. After you have gone through the basics in that feel free to come back and ask your questions in MV Support, but as Micro has mentioned the best way to learn is hands on. See you around.
