Battle Effects with duration (rounds)

Hey,

is it possible to have Skills that last over x rounds. I do not mean states - I need bigger images that hover beside the user on the battle screen for some rounds or even attack animations for these. Lets say orbs or a weapon summon, that attacks the enemys over x rounds.

Do you have any ideas?

Without Script? Hope not. *g*
I knew Scripts for Vx/Ace, that exactly do that, but didn't find ported or new ones for MV yet.
So other sugesstion/idea:

With Skill (for execution), State (that let autoattack or durates the skill for x rounds with script ahead), a Character Summon (character added on event, that have the state attached to the skill) and Event/Switch (to kill summon off when battle ends before round limits ends).

Cons: laborious, untested, enemy attacks summon, needs free slot in your party.

Or try to find other summoning scripts or tutorials, but actually I don't know one for MV, that have a round duration and autoattack/spell.
