Yes, everyone will be automagically given the badge on the 23rd of this month. So, if you have any buddies on any other RM site that you know will be getting MV, you should tell them to join so they join before the badge gets released! :D It will NEVER be handed out again past the 23rd of this month.

That badge is given to anyone subscribed in this forum before MV's release date with the engine pre-ordered, if I understood correctly?

No, simply anyone who is registered to this forum prior to the release date of RMMV.
