I am in the right path with my mapping?

they all are pretty solid! i'd say add some more details, like pickaxes in the caves, ropes, shovels, or for the forest areas, stumps, logs, more flowers, bushes, etc

    Is this a good idea?

theres certainly potential in a game like that, it just depends on how well it is executed... i say find something to raise the stakes a bit more or find a way to get the player to get emotionally invested.

smaller prequel first or bigger game first?

smaller prequel first or bigger game first?

so i'm new as hell to rpgmv and started a project with a helluva lot of plot. but then many say to start off with a small game. i was wondering if it would be a good idea to set that first game aside and start off with a smaller prequel about the backstory with one of the main NPC characters?

    dimensions for pixel art?

i've been thinking of doing my own pixel art and was wondering what are the dimensions for a normal tileset, character faces, and etc? i'd look at the dimensions of the default tileset but RPGMV is on my other computer at home (i go to school away from home). thanks!
