    Scripts can be rather tricky. Filling in the database is likely the best starting point because it's fairly simple to create some basic equipment and characters, etc. Otherwise, making some maps may be the way to go.

    Regardless of where you start, there are many people on the forums who can assist you. Maybe make a post in one of the MV Discussion & Support forums?

    I definitely agree with Lore that the database is always a good starting point- getting used to it takes some time, depending on the person. But I can see scripts as really helpful too- since we all love them, and you need to get used to using script tags in the notebox in the database too when you start using them (it's taking me a while, personally.)

    What made you specifically most curious in plugins/scripts?
