Mother-in-law was rushed to hospital this afternoon with chronic chest pains. She was in the ICU but has since been moved out into Emergency. They suspect she suffered a mild heart attack.

What may be worse is being the parent with health issues. I have survived a subarachnoid hemorrhage. I also have cervical severe foraminal stenosis in multiple spots. I go to the hospital quite often. I understand from being on the opposite side.

Yeah, my mother-in-law hates having ambulances called to take here to hospital (she and the paramedics are getting to know each other quite well), but she just sighs and accepts it now, considering this is about her 10th emergency trip in as many months.
